Emma: 3 Months

Dear Emma-
I hope that writing these letters will give you a small window into our lives as we experience you at 100 days old. It feels like you've been with us forever and yet it feels like you were born just yesterday. Its likely the lack of sleep, but we wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. We are so full of love for you and you've been so long awaited!
You truly are a sweet girl with a naturally laid-back attitude to life. You've been giving us little laughs and smiles here and there since you were born (gas) but now you squeal- there is nothing more girly to you than your high pitch squeals! You love to smile at your mommy and big brother and me. Your whole face lights up when you smile and this, my dear Emma, is how I know you'll change the world one day- you can turn anyone's day around and light up a room.

You're getting through a cold at the moment and so we've been in and out of the doctor's office; but although they keep telling us- its going to be an extra rough night, you power through like its nothing. Even when you can't eat because you can't breath, all you do is cuddle next do us and sleep and eat when you can. You worry us so much at times because you complain so little and we're worried sick that you'll get dehydrated- so thank you for the extra wet diapers- it gives me relief and calms your mommy's nerves down. Your brother loves to share with you most of his toys as he brings them to you in offering for you not feeling well- he loves to share so much that he has so far shared all the colds he's caught in school!

You are wearing 3 month old clothes and those are starting to look a little snug on you- I keep telling mommy that we have tp hurry and put you in all those clothes we bought before you outgrow them. You love the new sleep sack because you dont like being cold. Since its Winter, we try to keep you indoors as much as possible; however, you love going out in the car to drop off your brother at pre-school. Everyone that sees you thinks you're beautiful and clearly very smart!
You are very aware of your surroundings, your little head turns in every direction to see what is going on, whether its your brother jumping from one couch to the table or to see the dogs run across the floor.
You love your bottles and you are definitely, just like your brother, not into pacifiers. Even though we've tried, you are definitely telling us that you don't like them, instead, you seem to enjoy soothing on the bottle.

Love you always baby girl,

Mommy, Daddy & Mason
