week 25

What Fruit are you? Rutabaga

Due date:  9.11.14
How far along:  25 Weeks!
Next appointment:  4 Weeks from now which is the beginning of the 3rd trimester!
Gender:  Baby Boy who now has a name...
Exercise: We just finished doing a ton of walking while on vacation.
Stretch marks: A few, very little so far.
Swelling: Feet last week while walking 10+ miles a day...
Maternity clothes:  yes and a few specialty ones:
Belly button:  Still in...
Sleep: pretty good, feeling more rested...
Food cravings:  nothing much, just thirsty related cravings, ice tea, coke, water, ice.
Symptoms:  no symptoms really, just a growing belly.
Movement:  Baby moves, moves all day, he's super active, even the midwife said so... he goes and steps on her bladder, against her back, etc. I feel him too, its pretty cool.
What She misses:  This weekend she realized how much she cant do, especially being able to walk for longer periods of time, being overall, less tired and just being able to do normal activities at the same pace as before.
What She's loving:  Pink Lemonade
What She's looking forward to:  Baby's arrival! soon soon!!
Best moment this week: We enjoy feeling the little guy moving around so much. I also feel like because I talk to him so much that he can actually hear me and recognize my voice. It's been proven that babies can actually recognize familiar voices. My goal is for this little dude to know me by the time he comes out into the world.

News: Milestones:  Words of wisdom: pregnancy is a journey that for us has been so different than others around us. So far we have experienced a harder pregnancy than some of our friends but as we have come to know, certainly, not the worst pregnancy. We are so blessed that overall we can say everything has gone well. Baby M is growing quickly and his movement is amazing. We are so excited and anxious to meet our little bubba.

I love you !
Your mom and dad love each other so much! We have so much fun when we're together!

Week 22

I've slacked a bit...

What Fruit are you? Papaya

Due date:  9.11.14
How far along:  22 Weeks!
Next appointment:  3 weeks or so
Gender:  Continues to be a boy
Exercise: Lots of walking
Stretch marks: A few, very little so far.
Swelling: None
Maternity clothes:  yes and adding some more to the pot.
Belly button:  In but flattening due to growing belly
Sleep: yes
Food cravings:  Iced Tea and fruit. (could be much worse)
Symptoms:  Gets tired at the end of the day, feel like this is pretty normal since she is carrying the extra weight.
Movement:  Full on movement my friends. We are feeling Baby T pretty much every day for 15 or so minutes several times a day. He is very active. We can feel him moving from side to side, and when I put my hand in certain places, he lets me know he's there.
What She misses:  The idea of having her body back to herself sounds pretty great. Though Tiff is loving it now that she's feeling better, its still not the same. Good cause though (don't you love that I say that and I'm not the one carrying the baby? - tiff does, ask her).
What She's loving:  Fruits and ICE. she cant drink anything without ice.
What She's looking forward to:  Disney! We get to go in a couple of weeks.
Best moment this week:Every day this week was great. I came home to find Tiff ready to go walk, we took the dogs, dash decided to go number 2 on someone's sidewalk, that meant waddling  walking back and getting bags to clean it up, anyway exercise is exercise.

News: Milestones:  Words of wisdom: We continue to be amazed at the miracle that this baby is in our lives. We look forward to the day when he's here and though he is not here yet, I find myself wondering how I plan on keeping him from growing up too fast. Lately, this is on my mind a lot. The idea that we really only get 18 years until he's essentially out on his own is sad. I know that this was me at one point and it'll be ok. I just have to convince Tiff that we need a big family, we can stagger them and just keep having kids to last us a life time. Joke, Tiff, joke. (she's not laughing).

Amazing outfits of the week for baby T:
