I attempt to write this with sleepy eyes; we've been hanging out a lot at night. I can't believe its been 2 months since we brought you home from the hospital. Now that you're here, our family of four is complete and whole. At your two month check up, you weighed 14 lbs and 24 inches in height. You are a tall girl!
Mommy loves to dress you in all your cute outfits- she thinks that boys really get the rough end of the shopping options so she's finally able to enjoy picking out 1 or 5 outfits for the day. I bet one day you'll be mommy's shopping partner in crime.
You truly are a perfect baby (not that your brother wasn't) who loves to sleep, eat and watch your brother run around. You love to smile at daddy and brother as he makes faces at you and sings to you. The bond between you and your brother is beautiful and it warms our heart to see it building right in front of our eyes. Whenever you cry, Mason gets very concerned and runs to see what is happening followed by a demand to have it fixed for you- no matter what. I hope that special bond will follow you both throughout your lives.
You got your first Santa visit and you were pretty ok with the big guy. There will be many more years of experiences like this that we can't to experience with you.
Thank you for being a dream baby. Your brother, mommy and me are so in love with you. From day one he has taken you under his wing, smothering you in kisses and always checking on his “baby sister emma grace” and saying “HI BABY {loudly}!” It warms our hearts to know you will have each other for the rest of your lives.
